  • Hera Pheri 3: Suniel Shetty Reveals Paresh Rawal Wants To Discuss His Sudden Exit: “Bohot Hi Charged The”

Paresh Rawal’s exit from the much-anticipated sequel Hera Pheri 3 has caused an uproar in the world of showbiz. Akshay Kumar’s production house Cape Of Good Films sued Paresh Rawal for Rs 25 crore for damages on the production house. The legal statement also threatened that if the actor didn’t pay the amount within seven days, civil and criminal actions would be initiated against him.

Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty, who had earlier expressed shock over Paresh Rawal’s exit, revealed in a new interview that Paresh Rawal wanted to “discuss” his sudden exit from the film with him.

Suniel Shetty told E24, “Jitne shocked aap hain, main hoon. Main baat nahi kar paya. Meri Paresh ji se baat hui ek second ke liye. Lekin Paresh ji ne kahan ki mil ke baat karenge. Toh meri baat hi nahi hui hai (I am as shocked as you are. I spoke to him for only a second and he asked to meet. We haven’t been able to meet and talk yet).”

The actor added, “Humne trailer shoot kiya hua hai. Toh pata nahi kya hua. Warna Paresh ji aise hain nahi. Kabhi bhi public platform pe announce nahi karte kyuki main, Paresh ji aur Akshay (Kumar) aise (united) hain when it comes to Hera Pheri. Bohot hi charged the (We have shot the trailer, so I don’t know what happened. Otherwise, Paresh ji is not like this. He wouldn’t have announced it on a public platform. Me, Paresh ji and Akshay are united when it comes to Hera Pheri. He was quite charged).”

Suniel Shetty also shared, “Kuch filmo ko le ke main bohot hi charged tha, Welcome, Awara Pagal Deewana, Hera Pheri. Maine yahi socha tha ki aur kuch nahi karoonga. Ek aad film aisi (Kesari Veer) aayegi toh karoonga, warna sequels karoonga. Lekin this is heartbreaking (I was very charged about films like Welcome, Awara Pagal Deewana and Hera Pheri. I thought I would only do sequels now, unless a film like Kesari Veer comes up. This is heartbreaking).”

Earlier, when Suniel Shetty came to know about Paresh Rawal’s exit during a film promotion in Delhi, he told India Today, “This is a crisis. We are in the middle of this film, and this is the biggest shock.”

“We were going to begin shooting next year. We had already started, in fact. We shot a promo. It’s a big thing. This is so shocking. I can’t make sense of this. And you know who sent it? Athiya and Ahaan – they both sent it to me within 15 minutes, asking ‘papa what is this?’. And I was here doing my interviews, and I felt like ‘holy s***’, added Suniel Shetty.

Akshay, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal had begun shooting for the film under veteran director Priyadarshan in April this year. Akshay had bought the rights for Hera Pheri 3 from producer Feroz Nadiadwala and he’s one of the producers of the film.

Hera Pheri 3 is the sequel to the 2000 hit film Hera Pheri. The second instalment was released in 2006. Hera Pheri 3 was announced in 2023. Earlier this year, Priyadarshan was confirmed as the director of the film.

  • ‘Robin Uthappa Wearing Mayanti Langer’s Trousers?’ Sunil Gavaskar Has Star Anchor In Splits, Reply Epic. Watch

Sunil Gavaskar is often unforgiving in his analysis. He is among those star cricketers who is not afraid to call a spade ‘ a spade’. The former Indian cricket team captain has a good sense of humour too. He is part of a famous meme where the colour of his trousers matches with the dress of famour sports anchor Mayanti Langer. Gavaskar re-visited the famous meme and gave fodder for another famous meme during an IPL match. Gavaskar was part of a discussion panel which has former India player Robin Uthappa and Mayanti. Then, Gavaskar made a hilarious observation.

I just want to ask, Robin, why is he wearing Mayanti’s trousers?” Sunil Gavaskar asked.

“I wanted to take the attention away from you,” Uthappa replied.

“I am supposed to be wearing the trousers,” Gavaskar said.

“Today, our stylist had the conversation. Not yours and mine. Screen shot this, Make this the meme now. But, brilliant observation Sunny ji!” Mayanti said.

Legendary India batter Sunil Gavaskar feels Shreyas Iyer didn’t get enough credit for leading Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to the Indian Premier League (IPL) title. Despite leading KKR to their third IPL title, Shreyas was released by KKR ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction, where he was picked up by the Punjab Kings (PBKS). KKR’s success was largely attributed to mentor Gautam Gambhir, but Gavaskar feels it’s the captain who deserves much of the credit instead of someone sitting in the dugout. Apart from his captaincy, Shreyas scored 351 runs from 14 innings at an average of 39 and with two fifties.

“He didn’t get the credit for the IPL victory last season. All the plaudits were given to someone else. It’s the captain, who plays a major role in what’s happening in the middle and not someone sitting in the dugout,” Gavaskar said on Star Sports.

This year, under Shreyas, PBKS are on the verge of qualifying for the playoffs. The team last finished in the top four back in 2014, eventually losing to KKR in the final.

Gavaskar is glad to see Shreyas getting all the praise this season, instead of PBKS head coach Rickey Ponting.

“See, this year he’s getting fair credit. No one is giving all the credit to Ricky Ponting,” he added.

  • IPL 2025: RCB Head Coach Andy Flower’s Massive Update On Rajat Patidar, Phil Salt’s Fitness

Head coach Andy Flower said the extended break has not disturbed Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s rhythm and it has only helped some players, including skipper Rajat Patidar, to get back to top shape ahead of playoffs. Patidar had suffered a finger injury during the home game against Chennai Super Kings before IPL was disbanded for a week due to the Indo-Pak military conflict. “We are not too concerned about that (break). I think the boys have worked really well over the entire season and they have played some superb cricket throughout the season. Yes, a little break now, but for a couple of our players that has actually been a healthy thing,” said.

Flower on the eve of the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad here.

Patidar was a wearing a splint to protect his injured finger, but he got another few days to recover as RCB’s match against Kolkata Knight Riders was abandoned due to rain in Bengaluru on May 17..

“Rajat Patidar for one has given his right hand a little bit of time to settle after getting quite a bad knock. So, he is fit to bat, which is great,” said Flower.

“(Opener Phil) Salt was sick for a while, so it (the break) has given him a little chance to get home. He has recharged his batteries and he is back at full force.

“Of course, everyone in the competition and all our fans would have wanted the competition to play out as planned, but bigger things were at hand and we have had to roll with that,” he added.

The Royal Challengers will now play all their matches, including the knockouts, away from home and Flower said the team has prepared well for the challenge while leaning on its excellent away record.

The RCB were originally scheduled to play SRH at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium but the match was shifted to Lucknow owing to the inclement weather forecast in Bengaluru.

“We are obviously disappointed not to be playing tomorrow’s game in Bengaluru. As you know, we struggled in our home conditions initially, and we took a little while to adjust our game plan according to the pitch and we did adjust it and won a couple of important games at home.

“We have got a good record away. We have been able to flex for the away conditions really well, so I am backing our players to do that again tomorrow. So, we are okay playing here in Lucknow,” he added.

The Royal Challengers have an all-win record in this season’s IPL in the six matches that played away from home.
